Threats Against The Mamba People

Tal Mambas and nosy Tussies, It's been a while since I updated the blog, so I thought today I would. I have an intriguing new storyline going on with Dante of Gardar and hope to involve many mambas into it. Feel free to read along or join in! [07:00] Megatron (dante Caggles): /me Always did hate boat rides and stepped off the boat with Nocra in Tow "So this shall be fun for one of us at least" He then does an about face and moves further into his lands"

[07:05] Nocra Neuman So focused on being angry that she had been bound and captured, she didn't notice initially who it was that held her binds. Seething with anger she refused to look at the man the entire voyage to his homelands. From time to time she would test her binds, summoning all the strength in her body in a vain attempt to break the cords that tethered her wrists. But each time she was rewarded only with a tightening of knots and she cursed venomously. When he removed her from the ship and began to stroll towards the encampment in the distance, she staggered and tripped several times over loose rocks and growled in frustration. "Release me tuusie! You've no reason to have captured me!"

[07:08] Megatron (dante Caggles) Looks down at her and smiles a bit "Oh My dearest, If only you knew how much of a reason i had to capture you. My little Mamba Queen" He would move his right hand along her face softly as he felt her skin upon his "For years now you have been hiding and hiding well, And for years you have evaded many Armies but on this day, You my little Mamba Queen will no longer be feared by Armies of Men" He then attempts to grab her by the throat and pull him closer to her as he hears her growling at him.

[07:14] Nocra Neuman Defiant onyx hues flashed with surprise and widened slightly when his hand extended and his calloused fingers curled around her esophagus. Instinctively she hissed in annoyance at his bold attempt to frighten her but there was only one thing she valued in this world and that was her life. Recognizing that she was temporarily at his mercy she opted not to provoke him and struggled to inhale a calming breath. Gazing up to him she processed his words, mulling them over in her mind and studied his features. The beard threw her off and it had been so long since they had last crossed paths that she nearly didn't recognize him... but there was a small hint of a memory beginning to surface. "I do not hide. The queen of all mambas has no reason to. I go where I please when it pleases me.", she answered then added, "Tell me the name of my captor. You seem to know me?"

[07:17] Megatron (dante Caggles) Would press just a bit harder on her neck as he leans in and whispers in her ear "You would remember me from the day of Either the Kelds of Alar OR the Black Myst when i was but an Alar living the life of a pirate. The name be Dante Alar Chieftain and you my dear do know who i am, We both know each other very well "He would put his lips a mere inch or so maybe a bit closer to hers as he whispers again "You do remember me don't you?"

[07:22] Nocra Neuman Awaiting his reply, her gaze flicked towards the cemetery behind him and the scent of rotting corpses greeted her nostrils. Under typical circumstances such a sight would not frighten her but being bound and captured she presumed only the worst. Assuming that his purpose for dragging her to such a place was to toss her body into one of the swallow graves. Her lips curled back when he tightened his grip again, snarling like a cornered beast she exposed the filed row of her teeth at him. The sharpened points designed for the sole purpose of carving warm flesh from bone. Perhaps she hoped it would intimidate him and cause him to loosen his hold so she could flee. But when he spoke she suddenly went motionless and silent. Again she snapped her gaze up to his face and blinked twice in a combination of disbelief and puzzlement, "Dante?", she whispered in a dazed tone, "No... surely not. He is dead. They are all dead. And if you were him, why then would I be bound?"

[07:29] Megatron (dante Caggles) Shows her the Scar he has on his right arm from the encounter they first had "You do remember this right?" he would step back a moment as she exposed her fangs and his hand moved off of her throat "Keep them chompers in check Mamba and we will get along just fine, And How could i be dead if i am here and in the flesh?, Surely it is a ghost that is why i brought you here to the Graveyard so my soul could keep you captured" He would roll his eyes at this moment and take in a deep breath getting both the scent from her and the smell from the graveyard "You're in binds cause i know you would not come willingly NOR would you come to these lands alone" He steps a bit closer to her The Alar Chieftain not really afraid of her But not really ever having seen a true Mamba Queen but maybe once or three times in their younger days, And call it Curiosity but Dante always was one for exploring what he did not know. "Tell me something, What exactly do you remember of me?"

[07:35] Nocra Neuman She studied the scar that long ago she had inflicted upon his flesh and was shocked into silence. But being a mamba she was superstitious by nature and when he suggested that perhaps he was a ghost... she considered his words for a few ehn seriously. But she could feel the pulse of blood rushing through the veins on his fingers when he had clenched hold of her throat and deemed that he was indeed as mortal as she. Tipping her head aside she studied him long and hard for a moment in silence, trying to visualize him without the facial hair then at last believed he was who he claimed to be. "I remember you... I remember you well. The day that I escaped from the Kur I found your huts and we shared a meal and rest and I gifted you that mark because I deemed it necessary. Is that why you have hunted me down like I am some prize? To repay me for some old vendetta? To spill my blood?"

[07:42] Megatron (dante Caggles) Smirks as he looks at her "No that is not why i hunt you down, I hunt you down, Cause i am a curious bastard whose curious ways will probably be the death of me" He does however pull out a small knife puts the bladed side towards him and the handle facing her "This blade though my dear Nocra is the same blade that has killed dozens hell maybe even hundreds of Mambas, This blade will be throw to the ocean today as i have finally found the one true Mamba Queen again" He knew what was coming once he spoke of how many mambas he has killed and or ripped their teeth out. "Do tell me though Nocra, IF you was was NOT hiding, Then where were you, I had my Outriders search every cave, Forest, City, Outlaw camp, even pirate camp searching for the Mamba Queen and i find out she is hiding at Sanguis, Interesting how this works out is it not?"

[07:49] Nocra Neuman Her jaw clenched when he revealed the blade, preparing herself for the worst as she immediately assumed he intended to stab her through the heart with it. But his words were more devastating that that thought as he admitted to the heinous acts of slaughtering her people. For years now their numbers had been dwindling, their population slowly falling to near extinction. No longer were their massive tribes and she was one of the last surviving Blood Moon, and now she knew why. Her eyes filled with enraged fury and she gazed up to him, "I DO NOT HIDE!", she screamed in a rush of anger then spat at him, "And if you looked as hard as you claimed, then you would know that my only son Neef is the father of the leader of the Sanguis. With my tribes numbers so low, the only place in which I would be safe would be with the Sanguis... the lands of my decedents where my line and blood still thrive."

[07:54] Megatron (dante Caggles) Would feel the spit on his face as he just let it slide down his cheek "Oh we searched high and low all over the lands of gor for you, Those mambas who had to die died cause they was foolish and tried to kill either me or my Outriders, Such a pity it was, I remember when the Mambas was a thriving bunch and people was scared to go for journeys alone, Especially those who had no back up" He would take the blade and place it inside of the Mamba Queens Boot. "Here is what i want from you Nocra Your people got a small taste of what i can do to your lands with a random bunch of ragtag i put together to come get you, Should i have to put my true army together it will not be so great for your people" He then steps closer to her again as he puts his lips once more almost on hers " Care to play a little game there Nocra?"

[07:58] Nocra Neuman She was still confused as to why he had hunted her all this time, why he had killed so many of her people just to track her down and her features were awash with a combination of growing rage and utter confusion. She watched carefully as he lodged the blade in her boot and arched a finely sculpted brow not understanding why he had done so. "What game?", she asked cautiously, not trusting him for a moment at this point and knew there would be some catch to his terms.

[08:04] Megatron (dante Caggles) Smirks as he looks at her "You're the type who likes a challenge so this shall be fun. "That blade is yours for the keeping as it is only right the Mamba Queen has the blade that has killed so many of her people. BUT three days from now i will come seek you out by myself and we shall talk about why you have this blade, As of now me and my people have a mamba camp that will be eradicated and all will be killed Men, Female children ALL OF THEM, Should you not comply with the demands i set upon you in three days, Well lets just put it like this for your peoples fate" He then runs his finger from her right ear across the neck and back up to her left ear and says not another word.

[08:10] Nocra Neuman Her predatory hues focused on his face and if she was unbound, likely she would have already made an attempt on his life. Never before had she been so angered and in over five hundred years of existence, this was perhaps the first time that she had ever felt...hopeless. But still her inner flame of pride and her fighting spirit burned strong. Biting down on her bottom lip she forced herself to stay silent so that she could listen to his words, pinching her bottom pad so hard that her mouth tasted the iron tint of blood seeping from the broken skin. Her body shivered with flashes of anger and she finally answered in a tense voice, "What demands will this be? And what mamba camp do you say you will be eradicating?", she asked trying to glean what information she could to perhaps warn them ahead of time.

[08:12] Megatron (dante Caggles) Shakes his head "You my dear Nocra ask too many questions" He tugged her a bit closer and placed a small soft kiss on her forehead "Come lets take you home you have lots to think about and mourning to do" And with that he just simply walks off towards the boat.

[08:17] Nocra Neuman She flinched away from him when he kissed her brow and her features displayed an intense expression of sadness that perhaps no one else had ever seen her portray. Sullen and moodily she followed him, not that she had much choice in the matter as he tugged the ropes leashed to her body. "Three days....if you live that long.", she thought to herself then glared at the back of his head envisioning cracking his skull open on the rocks that they were passing. When they neared the docks she exhaled a breath and felt relieved for at least, this day she would live to see another sunrise.

[08:19] Megatron (dante Caggles) Grins as he looks at her "Oh i do love when my life is being threatend and now that i know you will be hunting me, I shall go ahead and warn the Outriders if i am to die so is the Mambas" He would pull her onto the boat as he pulled his sword from his side and pointed it at the captain "She is to be treated with respect you bring her back to her lands in one piece if i find out different i will turn you into sleen bait" he then drops her leash and watches the ship take off to the open water.
