The Blood Moon is BACK!

It has been a couple years now since I have actively role played in Gor as the infamous antagonistic mamba character known as Nocra. It has been a unique journey for me, spending much of my recent time focusing on other exciting paths in second life but no matter what new forms of role play I have attempted, nothing can compare to the thrilling excitement of true Gorean role play and this character, who has been retired during my period of exploration. Despite everything, my heart and inspiration seems to always be drawn back. And so, the beast awakens.

In light of returning, I've decided to reform the Blood Moon Mamba tribe. I am interested in finding those who have a true desire for in depth role play. The tribe will be as close to the spirit of the books as we can possibly portray. How you might ask considering there are only a handful of book quotes to go upon? Simple. We use the foundation John Norman has laid out as well as the inspiration he drew from real earth based cannibal tribes in historic cultures. Such as those from Africa and the Amazon regions. Combining those two sources (The books and real life historic facts) we are able to accurately play this savage ritualistic based role.

This also means that we are a tribe barbaric in nature. Our main goal is to bring back fear to Gorean role play. How often do people in Gor run around without worry now? It saddens me how many neglect to remember Gor was a scary fucking place to live! And not just the mambas would eat you if you were caught out roaming alone in the woods. We strive to create intensive and realistic role play. Without an antagonist, what thrill is there?

The Blood Moon Mambas, as far as I know, is the oldest role played tribe in Gor (pre-existing SL). We do not associate ourselves with the so called 'ferals' you see bunny hopping across SL or other blatantly misinterpretations of those who attempt to rp as a mamba yet butcher the role completely. Please do your research before deciding to become a mamba as it reflects poorly on all of us.

Currently we are taking up residence in the caves located in the swamps of Arcana. The sim has a unique build and creepy atmosphere. Also it uses a new meter system called GCM which seems to be very interesting and personally I look forward to seeing how it can enhance the role play on the sim via all the crafting and gathering tools it has.
