Rescuing Emme (Attempt #1)

[23:18] Ravyn NavarathnaRavyn Navarathna peers at Nocra.. 'What are we looking for again?' she whispered softly, not wanting to alert anyone who lived here..

[23:18] Nocra NeumanNocra Neuman Enters the first hut peeking through the curtain and motions for Cai and Ravyn, "Is a doll, he cut the head off it. Should be really olds looking and many stitches and has a brown leather thigh strap."

[23:19] Ravyn NavarathnaRavyn Navarathna nods, thinking that should stand out pretty well... 'got ya...' wondering where Din hung his hat now a days..

[23:19] Cailyn RowlandsCailyn Rowlands followed behind the two... she herd her mother talk of the doll and she nodded... she loved to tout that thing around...

[23:20] Ravyn NavarathnaRavyn Navarathna rummages thru a few crates and couches, but nothing looked like it belonged to Din, nor looked like a doll with no head.. sighing, she peered out and exited.
[23:21] Nocra NeumanNocra Neuman Had never told anyone the story of where it had come from or why she had clung onto it her entire life, but anyone who knew her well enough, knew that she never went anywhere without it. Searching the room all she could find was a candle, so she took that and moved on to the next place.

[23:21] Cailyn RowlandsCailyn Rowlands moved to closed to the building keeping an eye out as the two searched the dwellings... she stayed in teh shadows spying the pair on teh distant roof top "keep close to the buildings I think we are watched"

[23:22] Nocra NeumanNocra Neuman Pushed open the unlocked door and sighed, "Just cages in here...not good place for us to be me thinks."

[23:23] Nocra NeumanNocra Neuman Enters another shack as Cai kept watch, again the hut was mostly empty but she took time to search under the barrels and cloth for what she sought.

[23:24] Ravyn NavarathnaRavyn Navarathna sighs, wondering where Din was staying.. his stench should give the place away...' We will find it.. promise'

[23:24] Nocra NeumanNocra Neuman "This hut reminds me of a mamba place...see all these bone things?", she gestured to the remains which wear human scattered around the floor and the skull nearby on a crate.

[23:24] Cailyn RowlandsCailyn Rowlands moved from house to house.. she felt as if they lingered too long and all the eyes of the town were watching them.. but her mother was suborn she looked about hoping that the eyes stayed only curious for now..

[23:25] Nocra NeumanNocra Neuman "Its not here either...", she hissed angrily wishing she knew which of the dozen or so homes belonged to Din.

[23:26] Ravyn NavarathnaRavyn Navarathna pressed her ear to the wall, listening for movement, and voices, wondering if it was clear to exit the house.. Glancing to Cai and Noc, she placed a finger to her lips, for silence, not wanting them to get caught before they found what they were looking for...

[23:28] Nocra Neuman: "I have an idea.... we get a huge empty crate and all three of us pretend its really heavy and wear masks so no one can say they know us...right...then we say we are a shipping company and that he hired us to bring something to his house for him and we walk in and ask someone to just show us the way.", she thought it was a brilliant plan, insane, but brilliant never-the-less.

[23:29] Ravyn NavarathnaRavyn Navarathna glanced at Nocra and bit back a laugh, thinking it might work.. but then again, it might just land them in a cell too.. giving a silent chuckle, she peered out the doorway and window, not seeing anyone, she pressed her ear to the wall once more, listening..

[23:30] Cailyn RowlandsCailyn Rowlands nodded as she moved to ward the side wall pressing an ear agaist it.. she heard the faint sounds of people... she herd her mother "I think I have a cloke stashed away at home some where" she giggled softly but her eyes darted to the door... she hated not knowing where all the bodies were at

[23:31] Nocra NeumanNocra Neuman Recognized something in the corner, a pillow, and while it might be a common item...this one she recognized as the one she had stained and hand woven for bone. "I know who's hut this is, we are safe at least in here. Bone and Rahls home it must be."

[23:32] Ravyn NavarathnaRavyn Navarathna glances at Noc, bringing her ear from the wall, and nods, a bit of a sigh of relief exiting her, but knowing they were far from out of the woods yet.. but, thinking they could at least be somewhat safe for the moment..

[23:32] Cailyn RowlandsCailyn Rowlands let loose a sigh of relief and she walked about picking up the odd bits and ends about the cabin "thank the priest kings..." she whispered

[23:34] Nocra NeumanNocra Neuman Cramped into the corner with Cai and Ravyn, listening for any signs of movement outside the cabin, "Which way do we go from here to search?", she whispered in a hushed tone.

[23:34] Ravyn NavarathnaRavyn Navarathna shifts slightly, trying not to make noise.. 'we need to go south.. its where the toher houses and buildings are..' she whispered softly..

[23:36] Sirus Ying: hearing some stuff moving around slightly raises hand up an chuckles with a tone , looking up staring over the house as he starts walking forwards..stoping easily he leans close and growls out."Who Goes There Speak your name's out right NOW ! "speaking into command easily raising his hand back grasping his sword tightly .

[23:37] Ravyn NavarathnaRavyn Navarathna bites her lip, barely breathing and freezes, not moving a muscle, as she heard the man outside the house.. turning eyes to Cai and Noc, she purses her lips, into a shhhhhh, silently.

[23:37] Cailyn RowlandsCailyn Rowlands nodded listening and she leaned against the wall looking at the door periodical "well we can't stay held up in here all night.. but I think I hear people out there still.." and her heart sinks hearing the voice... she looks to Rav and Noc her heart pounding against her chest now as the adrenalin rushes through her

[23:39] Nocra NeumanNocra Neuman Leaned against the wall ever so slightly, her head canted to listen, she heard a voice bellow but held her silence and remained motionless. Whom ever it was would leave soon and then once they had, they would be able to slip out and continue their search.

[23:40] Sirus Ying: shake's his head lightly not knowing whats going out moving his stance back easily an relaxs himself breathing in softly , shaking his head thinking abit he growl's out with anger. "Darn it just the dam urt's crawling around , i swear one these day's ima just burn stuff down so it has to run out ." laughs softly turning himself around an walks around the house silently with his step's.

[23:41] Ravyn NavarathnaRavyn Navarathna looked down at Nocra.. lifting a hand, she plucked a bit of twig from her dark strands, wondering where it came from, then decided she really didn't wan to know.. her ears straining for sound, as the world silenced around them, and the man spoke.. almost heaving a sigh of relief..

[23:43] Nocra NeumanNocra Neuman While they remained in Bones home, they were safe she knew but they couldn't stay here all night. They needed to get out without being seen and for that they would need a distraction. She wished there had been a window built into the back they could slip out of but there was only one entrance.

[23:44] Ravyn NavarathnaRavyn Navarathna shifts, not having heard anything for a few moments, and moves to the door, carefully poking her head out around the corner to see if anyone was about..

[23:45] Cailyn RowlandsCailyn Rowlands slid down the wall slowly and sighed quietly looking between Rav and Noc... she wanted to crawl toward the window to see if he was really gone... but she didn't dare... she watched rav make the move... and she nodded..s he was dressed to hide in the shadows and moved up behind her peering carefully around the corner

[23:45] Ravyn NavarathnaRavyn Navarathna darts back behind the wall, baring her teeth as someone starts to come into view.. taking a deep breath, she glances at her two sisters and shakes her head..

[23:45] Nocra NeumanNocra Neuman Thankfully it was well after dark and since it was a cloudly night, it could help conceal them as they crept around. "Shall we try throwing something?", she whispered into Ravs ear

[23:46] Ravyn NavarathnaRavyn Navarathna thought about that for a moment, 'in a few moments.. it may work, but if we move to the door, we will be seen.. 'her whisper, barely above a breath, as she struggled to remain silent.

[23:47] Nocra NeumanNocra Neuman "Not if we throw something and they turn to chase after the sound....we could slip out then...", she suggested keeping her voice low.
[23:49] Ravyn NavarathnaRavyn Navarathna glances around at the sparse furnishing's..'This Din's?" she asked softly..

[23:49] Nocra NeumanNocra Neuman Searched the crate first since everything else seemed to be out in the open and with a sigh she turned away,"Just beans in here..."

[23:53] Cailyn RowlandsCailyn Rowlands runs up to the house... the water levels seemed low... she smirked at the 'no tresspasing sign

[00:00] Cailyn RowlandsCailyn Rowlands pulls out her leather fold, flicking her wrist it opens and all the tools lay out before her... it was handy she led the life of an outlaw for a time... and she just wouldn't mention this little escapade to Haz... she puled out the picks and took a knee looking at the lock

[00:01] Cailyn RowlandsCailyn Rowlands then inserted the tools and she wiggled and moved them feeling out the tumblers..s he twisted and worked the lock... tension growing in the mechanism and the first tumbler fell pray..

[00:03] Cailyn RowlandsCailyn Rowlands continued to work the picks in the lock she nearly had to start over and she lucked out catching the second tumbler as the pick slipped into place... her tongue peeked out of her mouth as she knelt before the lock... almost holding her breath as she worked

[00:04] Cailyn RowlandsCailyn Rowlands tried to steady her hands.. it had been some time since she had worked magic with locks.. the pins move.. and the thirds and forth fall into place and finally the mechanism slips and she raises a hand to lift the leaver... she held her breath as her thumb pressed the latch

[00:05] Cailyn Rowlands: /me heard the click and a smile bloomed wide and she looked back at the two "were in my darlings..." she swing open the door and slipped the tools away folding up her pouch and tucking it in her belt

[00:10] Cailyn RowlandsCailyn Rowlands pears up through the cracks as best she can "bah it looks like the tavern.. she mutters softly...

[00:10] Ursuul KiranovUrsuul Kiranov cocks his head, thinking he heard voices. Probably Eden talking in her sleep again, fuckin bitch.

[00:11] Nocra NeumanNocra Neuman "Not his house it seems... guess we need to keep looking.", she answered with an over dramatic sigh and turned away from the ramp planning to head back out the door Cai had just picked the lock to. For a moment she was tempted to steal some of the supplies here but now was not the time....they were on a mission.

[00:14] Cailyn RowlandsCailyn Rowlands sighs as she faces another door to unlock.. she pulls out the leather fold once again and she crouches low examining it... she looks to her tooks and pulls out the same as before and she licks the tip of the slender once then inserted them into the lock to try ehr luck again

[00:15] Cailyn RowlandsCailyn Rowlands twisted and turned the picks and the first tumbler fell easily into place.. the other door had warmed her up... she looked upon her work, and expression of deep concentration over her face... one would wonder if a hurt of bosk stampeding through would distract her...

[00:17] Cailyn RowlandsCailyn Rowlands then worked the lock it was all coming back to her now, twidting and turning gingerly as she listened...then finally the tell tail click sounded... and she smiled and her hands rose to lift the latch to the door...

[00:17] Nocra NeumanNocra Neuman Paced around uneasily her mind distracted trying to think of where Din's home could be. It seemed as if they had search almost everywhere and yet, no sign of her possession could be found.

[00:17] Cailyn RowlandsCailyn Rowlands pushed it open "here we go.." and she said with a smile.. she put her tools away once again...

[00:20] Nocra NeumanNocra Neuman "Just a rug in here nothing else...", she called out to Rav in a stealthy whisper.

[00:20] Ravyn NavarathnaRavyn Navarathna rummages through the hammock, cause ya knever knew, he may be snuggling the thing for his daytime nap. and doesnt find it.. 'anything in there???'

[00:21] Nocra NeumanNocra Neuman The fungus in here seemed fitting to the man they were looking for but alas no sigh in here of her doll either.

[00:22] Ravyn NavarathnaRavyn Navarathna slips in the curtained door, rummaging through the luggage, tossing clothes here and there, finding only woman's stuff.. 'Apparently not Din's.. unless there's something he isn't telling anyone.'

[00:22] Cailyn RowlandsCailyn Rowlands moved out of the cave and grumbled looking through the trees in a hushed voice she whispered back to then "bah there people in the direction we need to go..."

[00:24] Nocra NeumanNocra Neuman Grinned finding the broken window on the right side of the house from the backside and points up to it, "Give me a boost I'm smallest and can peek in to see if anyone is in here before we go in."

[00:25] Ravyn NavarathnaRavyn Navarathna grins at the broken window, and sees the crate, stepping up, she carefully squeezes through the panes of glass, careful not to cut herself, and gasps as a piece falls to the floor.. But, she is the biggest of them all, so if she fits they all do... ' I got it, Noc...' Falling to the floor in a heap, she huffs, and smoothed out her skirt, and reaches threw to help nocra...

[00:25] Cailyn RowlandsCailyn Rowlands comes upon the broken window to the side of the house... this had to be the place she thought they had looked everywhere.. she rose upon her tip toes.. and speared in,,, she heard her mother and stepped back and took a knee holding her hands out for her to step up

[00:26] Nocra NeumanNocra Neuman With Cai's help she managed to get a boost and lifted into the dwelling, pulling herself through she tried to make sure not to get cut on the glass or make any sound.

[00:27] Cailyn RowlandsCailyn Rowlands placed her hands on the ledge and grunted.. she hoisted her body up and crawled threw the window... she almost lost her balance but she caught her self..and crawled off the small cage onto the floor

[00:43] Nocra NeumanNocra Neuman Nocra Neuman Hunted around the large room and moved over to the brewery, she opened the lid and filled her bota with whatever brew it contained inside. Grinning she continued with her search, "Any idea who lives here?", she asked motioning to some papers on the table for Ravyn to read for her.

[00:44] Ravyn NavarathnaRavyn Navarathna smelt the paga before she turned and seen Noc pouring some, and curled her nose.. then seeing the papers, she flipped one around with her finger, and grinned, nodding.. 'Din..' was all she said, eyes lighting with a feral gleam, and grinning at Nocra and Cai...' Lets find it!'

[00:47] Ravyn NavarathnaRavyn Navarathna quickly scurries to some crates and starts rummaging thru them, lifting the lids and moving the contents around, piling them next to the boxes and finding.. nothing. Growling, she moves to the next, not caring to be careful anymore, she tosses things willy nilly here and there, seeking the doll that Noc was never seen without.. Clothes, furs, books, papers.. all tossed, floating and dropped next to the place that they had been stored as she searched.. her patience at an end.. 'Not finding it!' she hissed at Noc and Cai..

[00:49] Cailyn RowlandsCailyn Rowlands looks about it seemed to be the place where the leader of this small village would reside.. she smirked and a brow quirked her hand slipping beneath the layers of her skirt.. her fingers curled around the dagger hilt and she pulled it from its sheath... she swaggered up to the southerly adjacent to the window they crawled threw.... her toned arm rose and came down into the wood... and she worked and whittled away ... chipping into it as deep as she could... she carved a decent size Talon... she stepped back and folded her arms tapping he lips through the rag veil with the blade... she nodded, some of her best work even... she enjoyed whittling... "well that's my contribution in thanks for the recent surprise visits they have dealt us... done you think?" she says canting her head and her voice lilting as she smiles cheekily to the pair as they searched.. she saw Rav grumble in frustration.. she joined in the search for the doll.. but she came up with nothing...

[00:50] Nocra NeumanNocra Neuman She searched the place from top to bottom, peeking under tables, behind and inside crates, searching the cages but nothing..it simply wasn't anywhere to be seen. "He must still have it on his belt.", she cursed bitterly. Feeling a flash of vengeance she decided then to take something that seemed to be of value to him, there wasn't much in the room but on a shelf sat a helm. It seemed old and battle worn but well take care of. She lifted it from the shelf surprised by its weight and set it atop her own head. It wobbled for a moment until she learned how to properly keep it balanced. "I'm taking this...and now he knows who has it. If he wants this back, he will have to return what is mine." She looked at the marking of the black talon that cailyn had carved into the wood and grinned.

[00:54] Nocra NeumanNocra Neuman Pulls the chair over tot he window to stand up on and squirms out into the side of the yard.

[00:54] Ravyn NavarathnaRavyn Navarathna stepped up on the small barrel and pushed the window open, and squeezed out into the grass, straightening out, and glancing around....

[00:54] Cailyn RowlandsCailyn Rowlands saw the distillery.. and she pouted.. she wished she had a wagon... she needed more gear for her operation... but she made her way to the other broken window and followed ehr family out

[00:56] Ravyn NavarathnaRavyn Navarathna leaps aboard the ship, grinning like a fool and laughs! 'Come on sisters.. home!' she yells to the captain, and sets sail for just that place...

[00:57] Cailyn RowlandsCailyn Rowlands scurries to teh boat and hops aboard plucking out her copper and tosses it to the captain... she settles on some cargo say "I am with them" pointing to rav and Noc she sighs a sigh of relief as the ship departs

[00:57] Nocra NeumanNocra Neuman Lept upon the ship with a sly grin, the mission hadn't been fully successful...she hadn't found her doll...but stealing Din's helm did make her feel a bit better. "Sail!", she ordered loudly then sank down onto a sack of grain.


[02:14] Nocra NeumanNocra Neuman Running into camp she darted up the steps and into the small cave on the wall, stored inside was a large crate filled with all the various things Nocra had aquired, stolen and borrowed (without intention of returning) over the years. Opening the lid she removed the helm they had stolen from Din's home and stashed it below a pile of random junk to keep it safe. Using a lock and key she closed the hinged top and secured it close then wove the key into her dark hair to hide it. "There! Now he can't get it back until I get Emme back!"
